Who we are

Infusion Therapy London is run by Richard Denny, trading as Infusion Therapy London, 19 Elswick Street, London SW6 2QR. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, email richard@infusiontherapylondon.co.uk.

What we collect

When you contact us, we collect what you choose to give us. This may include:

  • your name and email address;
  • what you’re looking for help with, what you’ve tried before, and your message;
  • the date and time you agreed to us contacting you.

If you go on to have an assessment or treatment, we also keep clinical records. These include health information such as your symptoms, history, medicines and treatment notes.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and arrange appointments;
  • to assess you and provide safe, appropriate care;
  • to share information with other professionals involved in your care, as described below;
  • to meet our legal, professional and insurance obligations.

We never sell your information, and we don’t use it for marketing.

Our legal basis

We use your enquiry details because you asked us to contact you, and because we have a legitimate interest in replying. For assessment and care, we rely on taking steps at your request before providing a service, and on providing that service. Health information is special category data: we use it to provide health care, under the confidentiality that applies to all clinicians.

Who we share it with

  • the clinicians involved in your assessment and care, including partner doctors and clinics, only as far as they need it;
  • your GP, if you ask us to;
  • service providers who run our website and email, under contracts that require them to keep it secure;
  • emergency services or your GP without your consent, only if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, or if the law requires it.

Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK’s approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn’t lead to an appointment, we delete it within 12 months. We keep clinical records for 8 years after your last appointment, in line with UK guidance for health records, or longer if the law requires it. Records for anyone under 18 are kept until their 25th birthday, or for 8 years, whichever is longer.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct anything that’s wrong;
  • ask us to delete it, or to limit how we use it, where the law allows;
  • object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, email richard@infusiontherapylondon.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month. We may not be able to delete clinical records we must keep by law.

Keeping it secure

We use secure, access-controlled systems and only share information with people who need it. Email isn’t completely secure, so please don’t send us detailed medical information until we’ve agreed how to share it.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first at richard@infusiontherapylondon.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
